Washington DC

The Capitol Building
Today we took a trip to Washington D.C. You can not cover this incredible place in one day so we decided on a few things to do. First we parked at Union StationThis place is a marvel to see. From there we walked to the Hart building, where Barak Obama has his offices. Elisa had the idea that she would give him a book about election fraud, forgetting the Senate Rules against gifts. So she wrote him a nice note about it and we moved on to the next thing.
Elisa outside his office

We grabbed a cab to the other end of the National Mall and the ESPN Zone restaurant. This was a treat just for Joy who has been wanting to go there. We had a sort of nice lunch and then headed down to the game room to play games. It was a nice air conditioned break from the high 80's heat outside.
Refreshed and fed we headed out walking to the National Gallery with the purpose of seeing the Afghanistan Exhibit this was great and we found ourselves wishing that we had a whole week to spend at this FREE admission museum, free except for the tax dollars we pay that is. Richard met us there so we could hang out.
Eddie, Elisa and Richard outside the National gallery and then we went off to see his apartment in V and 13th street. While there we went to a great restaurant called the Utopia Bar and Grill really great food with a relaxed atmosphere, our waitress Christina was attentive and pleasant. Good all the way around. We headed back to Boonsboro with the last day before Chincoteague VA in the books.
